Spectra 360 Electrode Gel has a non-irritating, hypoallergenic, bacteriostatic, salt-free (no sodium ion transfer), non-gritty, STAY-WET formula that allows for prolonged use without re-application, and it is the product of choice for ECG, TENS, monitoring, pediatrics, and conductive rubber/carbon electrodes; however, it is not recommended for defibrillation. Spectra 360 Electrode Gel also differs significantly from all other electrically conductive media because it works by wetting the skin thereby reducing skin resistance.
